Hiring chidlren is a reality which does not concern exclusively developing countries. In 2001 the International Labour Office has listed 246 million young workers all over the world. Aged from 5 to 17 years old, more half of them works full-time! The majority of the them work in the agriculture sector. Craft and Industry are also key sectors: realisation of glass melted in India, manufacture of carpet in Nepal and in Pakistan.....
Make children working in these conditions is illegal. But you have to know that to engage children is not always synonym of torture, illegal work, and is not necessarily the result of handwork lack.
Nowadays, a new type of work is exclusively dedicated to children…
Children are a good investment for organisation because they inherently understand digital technologies.
Why ? They have or are growing up with it !! They know what (we call) ‘next generation’ needs and how we could offer it the right services.
