In fact there are no many differences between the hackerpots and the honeypots. The both try to attract the hackers in a trap, they put some interesting information on a server and after they take their IP address. It could be use against the spasm and virus like Trojan. The name honeypots is in the reference of the famous grand mother remedy. The grand mother put in a bottle some honey and they cut the bottom and turn over in the bottle also when the bees or the flys are attract in the bottle they can’t leave they are prisoner.
